Just what I ordered [Posted on 2007-12-28] This product was exactly what I expected it to be. My only beef is that I wish they would have offered a discount for buying two chips. Oh well:).
My laptop runs great, now [Posted on 2008-02-09] I purchased this RAM for my Compaq Presario F730 laptop. It came with Windows Vista and only 1GB of RAM, which was rather painful if I was running more than a couple of apps at the same time.
I'd read from a couple of sources that I really shouldn't use RAM that isn't specifically made for this laptop, so I was feeling a bit hesitant about the purchase. I'm happy to say, it works perfectly. If you have a Visat laptop with only 1GB, buy a couple of these to replace the stock RAM. You'll be happy you did.
BEWARE OF ANTONLINE - EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE [Posted on 2008-02-27] I ordered this product from ANTOnline, and never received it. Their customer service department just blew me off. I suggest you order products from one of the many other vendors in the Amazon marketplace.
Awesome upgrade [Posted on 2008-05-22] This is the best improvement I've ever had with a computer upgrade. I'm really surprised what a difference doubling the RAM makes, my HP laptop feels twice as fast. After researching this a bit, I really didn't expect to notice much of a difference, thus my surprise. The similar upgrade via the hpshoppping site would have cost four times as much. This Kingston RAM is much more cost effective. I upgraded my HP dv2315nr (running Vista) from 1GB (2X512) to 2GB (2X1) for $60; I only wish I had done this many months ago!
Really improved Vista performance on my HP [Posted on 2008-06-12] I have a HP DV6000t notebook that I bought a couple of years ago with 2 GB ram. I bought two of these sticks to try to improve the performance. They were easy to install and made vista run a lot smoother when multiple applications are open. Vista still sucks though!
