This printer cannot be shared on a network. Therefore the name "easyshare" is a complete misnomer. I cannot recommend this printer until Kodak provides software that allows it to be used on a network, like any other printer today. These comments apply to both Windows and Mac OS.
The Worst Printer of 20 others [Posted on 2008-04-28]
In my life time, I have owned more than 20 printers - because I owned a business. Easily, this is the worst printer I have ever owned. When I first bought this printer, the scanner broke within 2 months and it took over five hours on the phone with customer service to get a replacement printer, because Kodak customer service representatives are not fluent in English. I have had the replacement "new" printer for less than 3 months and it is broken again...and because it was such a pain to get the replacement last time I won't bother trying. The ink is cheaper, but doesn't last anywhere near as long. So, it is not cost effect! I had been pleased with HP products, but thought I could save some money because the ink cost so little. In the ended, I have ended up spending at least as much on ink and a whole lot more in time and aggravation! Do yourself a favor; buy an HP or any other brand.

The all in one printer prints using a lot less ink. The cartridges seem to hold more and they last longer. That's the way they all should be.

This is the best printer that I've ever bought. The images are crystal clear and the colors are true. The easy share for photos is a great feature. Just insert the sd card, zoom, and crop and your ready to print high quality pictures in the comfort of your home. Kodak's reputation for economical cost of ink cartridges is well justified. You can purchase a black and a color cartridge for a total of $25 and the cartridges last a long time. I highly recommend the purchase of this printer.

i have boughten this printer a few months back and i love it! i can scan pictures and school stuff for my kids. i can put in my memory card from my kodak digital camera into the memory card slot and view all the pictures on the lcd screen and select which ones i want to print off. its so easy!! the photopaper tray is great aswell. i also love that the paper is loaded in the bottom front and not the back so theres nothing sticking up in the back getting knocked around and breaking. i would highly recommend this printer! its easy and has the options most would need to have today.
