Convenient and easy to use [Posted on 2007-01-15] For the price, this little printer is amazing. Easy set up, no computer needed - I can even send pics from cell phone to print from across the room! I love it. I'm going to buy another as a gift.
You Control Your Costs! [Posted on 2007-01-28] This printer easily handled a new USB jumpdrive, with photos exported from iPhoto on an old G3 iBook, and was just intuitive to operate. But by far the best feature, besides the many ways you can get photos INTO this printer, is the fact that you know exactly what you per print cost is, because you've already bought the paper and the dye transfer cartridge for 10, 40 or 160 prints.
You can scroll through the prints and decide, for each one, how many prints you want. If you have ten sheets, you can print ten prints. You decide. Really great product from Kodak.
memory card is stuck [Posted on 2007-01-31] so i bought this photo printer and i put in my memory card which is quite small compared to the insertion slot. it worked and everything but how do i get the card out? its stuck and there is no eject button that i can find. please help.
Buyer Beware [Posted on 2007-02-10] Please... find another photo printer.
We purchased three units, based on the great reccomondation from Best Buy. Right now, one is making us manually feed the paper (it no longer auto-feeds), another had the same problem, but is now no longer functioning correctly, and the third is only starting to act up. We had taken one back when the auto-feed stopped working and had BestBuy replace it, but then the new one immedietley didn't auto-feed right out of the box! A friend of mine who purchased this based on my high reccomndation (after the first week of use) is now also having an auto-feed problem (he's saying that he has to manually feed each page, but he's ok with it). So with a review of four products (five if you count the one we replaced at Best Buy), this is a poor choice for a photo printer. :(
Buyer Beware.
Proud Ower for 2 years!! (And still going) [Posted on 2007-12-07] My husband bought this for me for Christmas 2005 and I am STILL using it!! This thing is a trooper! I have not had one single problem with it - ever.
I use my SD card as well as sending pics via bluetooth from my phone. The bluetooth is a SUPER COOL feature!! I LOVE to just beam my pics to the printer. I have also downloaded various pics from the internet onto my SD card and made prints that way.
I have noticed that the newer model (the 600, I believe) no longer has the screen... that's too bad. The screen was the main reason why I wanted this in the first place.
The only drawback: Since its the older (BETTER) model, I am having problems finding paper and ink for it now. I just buy a BUNCH when I find it!
