Its break after 2 mo. [Posted on 2008-05-27] Camera do ok. pictures when it works . My unit brakes after 2 mo. (i did not droped it or drown it ) i do care about my electronics. Video is not hd quality - it is 720p but overall picture has alot of noise in it (evan outside in good lighting) You also have to wait long time to do another picture (like 5-7 seconds). You can use AA bateries but to use (supplied) battery you have to use harger and you have to buy it as the accesory!!!! what a rippof . No case for travel to . Kodak is gridy for costumers - DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA IT LOOKS NICE BUT REED ABOVE - sorry for my english - Magdalena Kubiak
Great SLR-like camera [Posted on 2008-05-29] This is a fabulous camera! I didn't think that it could take better pictures than my older Kodak, but I was really wrong. The picture quality is amazing, and with a billion different shooting modes, you can always get the picture you want. Love it - recommend it to anyone.
AMAZING [Posted on 2008-06-19] The photos taken with this rival those of more expensive SLRs and this is MUCH easier to use. I bought this after I bought my almost 70 year old mother the Z712, and saw the outstanding photos she took. Plus it has enough control for the experienced photographer to fine tune their shots. And the HD video is a BIG plus.
Great pics, but no life [Posted on 2008-06-19] I got this camera a few moths ago and loved it. Then BAM it takes like 20 pictures to one lithium battery. That's freaking expensive. I sent it in for repair under warranty (which was incredibly inconveinant, since it left me without a camera with my 6 month old). They sent it back saying that it's "repaired" and now it takes a whopping 40 pictures per battery (to top it off the guy at the repair number was a jerk). It's awful, and I wouldn't buy another Kodak after this.
Junk [Posted on 2008-06-22] This camera takes so so pics, but is not built to last what so ever. Camera one lasted about 4 months with top notch care and just stopped working all together and support is nowhere to be found. The second one I bought, same model just more pixel's started to have flash problems with the bulp after maybe 30 pics and now wont turn on at all, again with top notch care after just 3 weeks. Kodak camera's suck, I got a HP and it works excellent and isn't so cumbersome and lasts more than a few weeks for the price. Kodak is such a Waste of money for such a hefty price for it's products.
