Nice Drive [Posted on 2008-07-13] Very nice drive. Works flawlessly with macbook pro. Integrated USB 2.0 cable. I don't like the removable protective cap because it is little annoying to take it on and off all the time. I like Freecom ToughDrives, but price put me off.
I Love it!!! [Posted on 2008-08-02] LaCie Little Disk by Sam Hecht is Awesome! The quality, the finish, the look, ease of use, and the capacity are the best.
Solid drive [Posted on 2008-08-03] Very nice drive. Love the retractable usb connection. It feels a little hollow/ cheap. It seems like it could be thinner because of this. Easy to smudge with fingerprints too.
I love it [Posted on 2008-09-09] this HDD is the best and maybe i will buy another one maybe 2
it not havey and small and the color is cooool black is the king of the color and the price was good.
Simply outstanding portable drive. [Posted on 2008-09-11] This is a simply outstanding portable drive. Tiny, compact, and feather-weight. The retractable USB cord is a spiffy idea and works marvelously, and the neat protective cap keeps out dust and ensures that nothing clogs the ports. Works marvelously with my new MacBook Pro.
NOTE: some computers (mostly Windows machines, blech) don't put out enough power through the USB port to power the drive, in which case one must use the additional USB power-sharing cable (which comes included) and plug the drive into two separate USB ports (one for power, one for data). However, this is NOT NECESSARY on the MacBook Pro: it puts out more than enough power, enough to power the LaCie while simultaneously feeding it data, all through a single USB port. In short: on the MacBook Pro (and I suspect, all Apple laptops), you never need to use the additional power-sharing cable.
