The product was shipped quickly and it was everything that I wanted. It runs beautifully with my computer and it is extremely light weight and portable. I was very pleased with this product and would recommend it to others

Straight out of the box, plugged it in, installed the software, was burning my first of serveral DVD's within minutes. How good is that?!

Works with Mac OS X! [Posted on 2008-08-07]
For some mysterious reason, LaCie doesn't advertise that this drive works with Mac OS X even though they provide Mac-compatible software for the drive. I was able to boot both my MacBook Core Duo and my MacBook Air using it. (Hold down option instead of 'c'.) The only downside is that the drive appears not to receive enough power from the bus, requiring the AC adapter.

Also, the stock image displayed here is completely wrong.
