I have used this 250G external hard drive for 1 month. Prior to this one, I have used different one (Iomega) but it was the worst hard drive. Then, I purchased this one and it has shown very stable and robust performance. I highly recommend this product from Lacie.

I have looked for a while for a robust product like this that would be compatable with my Macbook, old Macbook pro, and the PC's I work with too. This product did not at first appear on my Mac desktop but after trying again, all was well and it was simplicity to use. It is light and the rubber casing is easily removed should you want to keep it clean. I was sure it would be good for my Mac since my local UK Apple store stock the smaller version of this.

Very disappointed. The hard drive only enable 9.99... not even 1G. I have to take them to an IT to check them for me.
All he said was "Somebody did not do the write job"
Now it has enable 232G remaining capacity after he did his IT job with it.
Please check items before sealing them. It can be frustrating.

They were received in very good condition. I wanted to order more different colors, beautiful, unless you improve, I will then proceed with more orders.

The LaCie Rugged All Terrain Portable Drive is a great value. I have seen it advertised in computer magazines for $30 more. It is easy to carry and simple to use. Connect, and it works like magic. I use it with Time Machine with my MacBook Pro. It is the easiest portable drive that I have!
