Love it [Posted on 2008-05-17] I love this game and have been through each level many times (except the timed super story - I don't work well against a clock.) With the free play it is playable more than once. The cut scenes are humorous! Better than the Star Wars lego game for Episodes 1-3.
pretty good, but not the best [Posted on 2008-06-18] this game is pretty good when you start playing until you get to about the middle of the bounty hunter part, and get one of the ghosts(takes a long time). then you have to get about 60 gold bricks to get to Lego City. then it gets kind of boring. I've had it for like 2 1/2 years, I haven't even got to Lego City yet!
A great game [Posted on 2008-06-20] as with thew first Lego Star Wars this game is simple enough for children to play yet has a play style that will entertain adults. it is well written with fun missions and very few truly difficult puzzles or maneuvers to solve. Re-playability is built in with the free play mode that will allow you to bring other characters into a level to reach new areas and complete goals that cannot be done in the first pass.
i highly recommend this game.
Good game, but occasional random crashes [Posted on 2008-06-23] Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy
Good PC game, with excellent graphics. However, at random times the game crashes in Windows XP Professional (Media Center edition) with a pop-up to report the problem to Microsoft. Technical support from the vendor provides a "cop-out" response that perhaps the video card drivers are not up to date. In my case, they are, but the crashes continue.
8 - 10 yr olds LOVE IT! [Posted on 2008-07-10] As a parent who is reluctant to provide "fighting" games for my boys, I started off with the LEGO Star Wars video game, 6 months ago at Christmas 2007. (The boys were 8 & 9 then.) I figured that the leap in their minds from legos battling to my boys physically fighting was pretty great. Since I didn't see my sons physically lashing out at each other when they got angry or frustrated, (after hours of playing Legos Star Wars) I was encouraged. So in June 2008, I bought the Indiana Jones Lego video game. Lego Indiana Jones: The Original AdventuresBoth boys and their friends love to play it. It is easy enough for them to handle, yet challenging enough for them to have to work at it and not get bored. I have noticed that my sons and their friends take both the video storylines and can role play with their lego toys longer than they used to. I like to encourage imaginative play and this video game actually helps them do just that! Who would have thought!? (Mom age 51)
