Customer Reviews:

I GOT ZONKED WHEN I BOUGHT THIS GAME! [Posted on 2006-11-05]
OH MY GOSH-THIS IS TERRIBLE! My husband and I bought this game because I loved watching this as a child. This game uses the same prizes and games over and over. If you played once you have played too many times. The games are boring, the prizes are boring and it is a waste of money and time. I don't know why the box says "13 and up" because my 10 year old daughter could play this. This one is going back to the store-I got zonked out of my $24.99...if you want my opinion take the cash and run!

Zonk-Mania [Posted on 2006-11-23]
These days, classic game shows aren't really as popular as reality shows like Survivor and American Idol. However, with the surprise Summer show, Game Show Marathon in CBS, many clssics had the opportunity to breathe a glimpse of new life, like Press Your Luck, Match Game, and Card Sharks. Another classic which was revised, Let's Make A Deal. With Monty Hall's benchmark into pop culture revisted, many have wondered whether the classic game of trading will ever come back onto television again. Thankfully, those who easily own DVD actually don't have to wait for the show to return. They can just trade in the comforts of their own living room.

The Let's Make A Deal DVD game, recaptures the classic trading that Monty Hall made popular from the 70's and 80's into a great fun game. In this game, Monty Hall puts traders to the test where you can trade your chances for big nostalgic prizes like classic cars from Datsun, and Cadillac, to trips and fur coats from Dicker & Dicker of Beverly Hills. On top of that, there are classic quick deals to play for extra cash. For example, if you have a pair of scissors, Monty will give you $700. Also, there are the classic booby prizes, Zonks!!! Although they are fun to receive, you get absolutely nothing to show for it. There is also the anticipation of getting the Big Deal for big bucks. Unlike DVD editions of shows like Family Feud and The Price Is Right, the game really delivers a great job from Monty, and each of the great concepts from the classic game show. The mastering really thrives with classic clips of Carol Merill and Deal's announcer Jay Stewart on each of the prizes.

Although I just wish there could've been more games to play, I am absolutely impressed with the way Let's Make A Deal was put into a DVD game. If you haven't seen this classic game show, Monty Hall hosted, you have to buy this great game. I absolutely recommend this, and that is definitely not a zonk!

Loser Deal [Posted on 2006-12-21]
My Brother gave me a few DVD games-Deal or No Deal, Price is Right and this one--of the three, the Deal is weak...SO LETS NOT MAKE A DEAL!

I love Monty Hall. When I was a kid, I use to watch Lets Make A Deal..and love it! I would play along and say make the deal, watch out, etc

Now to the DVD game...Even through it has host Monty Hall which brings back memories of the clkassic show. However this DVD seem to repeat itself and gets boring really fast. and there are more zonks than prizes. I will take door number four... the one not playing this game--and if you are smart you will too

If you take this DEAL, you will be the WEAKEST LINK-BYE BYE!

Let's Make A Fun Deal Shall We [Posted on 2007-02-11]
Before Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Deal Or No Deal and 1 VS 100 became huge in the game show circuit a new game would make it's debut in the TV nation and would become the most watched show in the 60's 70's and 80's and is a historically important show in pop culture today and now it's here in a fun DVD version. Produced by Monty Hall's production company HATOS/HALL Productions Let's Make A Deal has never been so fun and so cool and refreshing as it's TV debut in the 1960's. When you first start the game you'll be introduced to LMAD by the dealster himself Monty Hall who in his 80's he proves that he has staying power and fun as he introduces Let's Make A Deal in fun instructions that may be helpful to newbies of the game then once you grab your buddies the fun really begins. Selected at random you'll never know what challenge Trader 1 2 3 or 4 have to do,
And the challenges might include,
Beat The Dealer {My Favorite},
Spelling W-I-N,
Real Or Fake,
Guess The Egg,
And many others,
But be prepared to win cool prizes such as Chevy Cars Engagement Rings Cruises trips to Mexico Peru Hawaii Puerto Rico and London England RV's and many other cool prizes and the not so fun prizes that will drive you ZONKERS you heard right I said Zonkers as Monty will ask you to do him a real sweet favor for him as he will give you a item such as a purse or a wallet and sure a wallet or a purse is cool but who knows what Monty puts inside of it and for the sake of your wonderful heart I advise you to take the risk and go take the purse or wallet when you play. And then there is the Let's Make A Deal fan favorite Quick Deals which Monty will ask you for various items such as lipstick and photos of celebrity cuties for extra cash and all this leads to the final fun round Big Deal and will have you excited with fun and laughter as you and your friends try to guess what's behind Door # 1 Door# 2 or Door #3,
The DVD version of Let's Make A Deal also features clips of fellow annoucer Jay Stewart and model Carol Merrill who was best known for as the curtain opener on the show on the prizes and Monty himself does an awesome job as host of the DVD version.,
In short Let's Make A Deal has never been fun as this DVD release and has never made a TV comeback since a short-lived remake hosted by Access Hollywood host Billy Bush aired on NBC in 2002 but until LMAD makes a TV comeback this DVD version should satisify LMAD fans until Let's Make A Deal makes it's TV return,
Until Then {In the words of Monty Hall Himself},
May all your future deals be good ones
