If you want a basic cheap printer this Lexmark is great. The ink is kind of pricy but I only us it occasionally so I don't mind.

I recently purchased this printer from amazon.. It arrived quickly, so I was pretty excited. Know this before you buy this printer. It IS sold for a very good value, but the package does NOT include the following:
-USB cable. You will need to buy it separately (A-B type USB)
-black ink cartridge
The price of the ink cartridges could vary, depending on where you want to purchase it, black ink from $19-$21; color from $20-$23. THE CARTRIDGES ARE VERY SMALL, so the ink cartridges ARE pretty pricey.. If you are willing to spend more on ink, you should get it.. I am STILL waiting for my USB cable.. I had to order it separately through amazon..... And I got my black ink today. I haven't got the chance to test this product yet, but did open the package. The printer is quite small, and weights little. It could be very convenient form what I see. 3/5 overall.

The Lexmark Z2300 is advertised as an easy to use, stand alone computer printer and it usually sells for around $25.00 at retail. We recently purchased one for a young family member who just entered highschool.

Unfortunately the minuscule price tag comes at a price that most people probably won't notice until they've opened up the printer and tried to set it up.

The printer doesn't come with black ink, nor does it include a USB connection device cable...however, you may still search the box without seeing the warning.

I don't understand what Lexmark was thinking when they decided to package a printer that you couldn't connect to your computer without making a possible second trip to the store; But by the time you blow about $20-30 more on the ink and cable; You may as well have paid for a slightly more expensive printer that already includes both.

Buyers beware; IF you plan to get this, make sure and order the device cable and some ink or you may be left out in the cold.
