Good and cheap printer for home use [Posted on 2007-10-05]
I have not had any major issues with this printer after two months. It is cheap and does the job, so don't hesitate to buy it. If it dies in a few months, it would have served its purpose well.
As another reviewer mentioned, use the Quick Print feature. Here is a description of this from Lexmark:
Print in draft. Before you print high-quality documents for clients and other important professional presentations, print in the "Quick print," or "draft," mode. You can make edits before printing multiple copies of a document. Not only will you save ink, you will also get your printouts more quickly.

I have sold quite a few of these printers. They are cheap not bad for the price.

I bought this printer a week ago because it was so cheap. Nowhere on the box did it list its contents, but when I got home I found there was no printer cable included to connect it to the computer. So there's an extra hidden cost. Also it only comes with a color cartridge. Mine has 2 slots one for color and one for black, but you have to buy black separately. So far the prints are good though, so no complaints there.

I bought this a few days ago. Haven't used it yet so I don't have a review for how well it works; however, I do take issue with it missing parts. It comes without a printer cable and the second ink cartridge, so in other words it is costing you more than the listed price. I would like to give a lower rating then this but I'll gice a couple of stars since I haven't used it yet. Not a happy cutomer.
Lexmark 600 series printer [Posted on 2008-06-24]
I am satisfied with this simple-to-use printer. My only complaint is that the printer did not come with both a tri-color and a black print cartridge--the black cartridge was missing. That was quite inconvenient, since the 600 series is no longer in production nor in stores. That makes the #16 cartridge extremely hard to find.
