Just what the doctor ordered [Posted on 2008-07-22] This adapter is great. No brainer to set up. The only thing I didn't like is that you need to use a computer to set it up. It would be much better if it were truly stand alone.
It is really fast if you can maintain a pure N to N connection, however, speed didn't seem to degrade enough when G's were on the network to equal a pure G to G connection.
Great with Directv [Posted on 2008-07-22] I'm a novice computer person. I always try to do things myself. The Linksys Dual Band Wireless-N-gaming adapter was easy to set up. I'm using to access On-Demand programs through my Directv. I works with no problem at all. It was a ease to set-up. I just followed the instruction. It also allows me to access my desktop from my TV. It's great it.
Works Great [Posted on 2008-08-02] bought it to play socom on my playstation2 and it works great. easy to set up.
Apple Time Capsule & Xbox 360 [Posted on 2008-08-08] Apparently, this is the only way to go for that combo. Tried the microsoft wireless adapter for the console and that would not connect with Time Capsule. This one seems to work just fine with my network.
xbox 360 or my Dishnetwork [Posted on 2008-08-13] It works great for both my xbox 360 and my Dish Network DVR. Love it
