In general, stay away from Linksys: look to Netgear now as the best value equipment that lasts and lasts. We purchased one of these before yet another linksys product failed, and so it will be our last Linksys product.
When it fails like the rest of them, I'm sure we'll be disappointed, but because we've already started buying Netgear, at least we'll have already left this formerly great company.

My fourteen year old son used this switch to conect our Mac Pro, HP all in one laser printer and an old Gateway running Linux to an Airport Extreme. It worked great from the first try without any problems.

Wish everything worked this well. Plug it in and forget about it. Bought one and it worked so well that I didn't hesitate to buy it again when I needed a second one.
