Well I guess you get what you pay for... This is is cheapest priced energy drink on amazon. Nothing special about this drink. The taste has nothing distinct about it. Taste more carboninated than anything. It just an ok drink. Honestly for 3.50 more you can get pimp juice which to me is a better quality product.

Okay. I don't see how anyone could not like this drink. Granted, it doesn't taste as good as RedBull, but the flavor definitely isn't crappy. Since I tried the sugar free version, it definitely tastes less watered down than the Red Bull sugar free version as well.
The reason I bought this was because I wanted a sugar free energy drink that wouldn't cost be 3 dollars a pop (I have been drinking Red Bull). You should get sugar free because 1)it is a lot healthier 2) when you pull an all nighter, you shouldn't have all that sugar in your teeth anyway. Liquid Lightning is not only sugar free, but it is a lot more healthy compared to Red Bull, since it has only 5 calories, 0 Sodium (Red Bull has a lot), 100% vitamin C...
It tastes good too, and for ~1 a can, you can't go wrong! Highly recommended.
Reminds me of cough syrup [Posted on 2007-08-07]
This is definitely a potent drink, but its taste reminds me of cough syrup whenever I take my first sip. After that you hardly notice it, however. Good deal if you can get it on the cheap and need an energy drink to satisfy your cravings, but if you are a novice try red bull, hansens drinks, or my favorite steven seagals energy drink.

I purchased Liquid Lightning directly from Amazon. For me, the taste isn't better or worse than many of its energy drink competitors. But in regards to the energy boost that it provides, I would have to give it a 3/10 compare to adrenaline or monsters. The cost isn't worth its overall quality for taste or energy.
