Customer Reviews:

An excellent Mac keyboard [Posted on 2008-04-07]
After having used this keyboard and mouse for a month I have found it to be quite excellent working with my iMac. Since I do a lot of work using Windows in a virtual machine via VMWare Fusion I wanted a keyboard that would work well in OSX and Windows.

This keyboard pretty much does all that I want it to do and the preference pane within OSX lets me modify most aspects of the keyboard to my desire. One minor problem is that the fast forward/next key on the keyboard does cause iTunes to move fast forward, just moves to the next track. Though I am sure this is a problem with the software and not the keyboard itself.

I also liked the feel and the curve of the keyboard. My hands easily settled on it and I found it quite comfortable for extended use.

The mouse is quite adequate and works as well as similar Microsoft laser mice I have used. I found it to be form fitting and comfortable for use.

Overall, Very Good [Posted on 2008-04-10]
The feel of this keyboard is exceptional. The keys seem to be placed in a manner that fits my hands and fingers very well. When testing this keyboard against a similar Microsoft keyboard in no look typing, my pinky finger found the Enter key, the bracket keys, the backspace key and the Delete key better than on the similar Microsoft product. This keyboard is very comfortable and I love the padded wrist rest. I spent years typing on a split ergonomic Alps keyboard and while it is not quite as (medically) comfortable as split and angled ergo boards, it is very close. I don't spend hours on end typing like I used to so I may never know. The key action is first rate and the "wave" shape really does compliment the differing finger lengths. But beware, it is not a true ergonomic keyboard so don't expect it to be as kind on your wrists as those. It is, however, great for how it is designed. One last thing, I missed the fact that it does not have illuminated Caps Lock, Numbers Lock lights on the keyboard when I was shopping for this board. A minor issue for me although I wish it did have them. Install was simple, easy and trouble free. I really love the mouse too.

nice kbd & mouse but missing a key feature [Posted on 2008-04-12]
I bought this sight unseen. If I had looked more carefully I would not have purchased it. It is a very nice comfortable kbd and mouse. BUT Logitech in their infinite wisdom have done away with a couple of keys. In particular the ScrLk or Scroll Lock key. This key a leftover from long ago serves no real purpose on today's PC's. But because of that status nearly all makers of low end KVM switch's have adopted it as part of the key stroke sequence to change from computer to computer. This makes it a show stopper for me as I have 4 computers under my desk. To add insult to injury Logitech does provides some programablity of various keys on the keyboard. But they are simple choices from a menu. Not enough to add the ScrLk function back in. If you don't need the ScrLk function then it's a very nice keyboard. Many other Logitech kbd's are also without the ScrLk function. I gave it to my wife.

very nice keyboard with some missing stuff [Posted on 2008-05-02]
I really liked this keyboard, it took me a while to find this one. However, if you are a linux person like me this keyboard set can be a little annoying. Especially, all extra buttons on the mouse just mixes everything. After installing the driver I was able to set properties on my XP, so it works fine with XP.

One of the most important stuff missing about this keyboard is "lights". Where is the CapsLock and NumLock light?!? Ok, maybe it is good that a message appears on the screen but what if I do not want to run that program every time, also what if I am using linux. Missing CapsLock light is really troublesome.

does the job [Posted on 2008-05-10]
sort of stil like the split keyboard that Microsoft put out years ago, but this one does the job, like the usb mouse connection with the long cable
