I've had this on my macbook pro for 5 months--looks a lot better than the wrist rest area would have looked by now if I had left it unprotected. My previous powerbook had ugly, deep scratches from my watch and/or bracelets dragging across it. Apple should make the area out of something tougher (like this rubbery stuff from marware)--but this is a good solution. Only small complaint (thus 4 instead of 5 stars) is that it is curling up ever so slightly on the top corners--but I don't expect it to get worse, so it's ok.

This is great to me because it does what it says. If you are thinking about this than go look at the pictures of it. Once you do that you have to decide if you look the look of it. If you do go for it, I love it cause it keeps your sweat of the computer this is great just try it is only 20 bucks.

Let's face it, the Marware protection pack is the only way to go to protect your Mac. The "bubbles" other reviewers mention work out easily and I have had no problem with residue - but why would you want to take it off anyway? For the price, you just can beat this set; it looks great on my MBP and keeps the wrist area clean and free from scratches.

The Protection Pack from Marware is a must-have for MacBook Pro owners. I bought the Protection Pack Deluxe, which has the keyboard protector/screen cleaner, wrist area pad, clear touch pad cover, and both clear and synthetic leather trackpad cover. The clear trackpad cover does not noticeably decrease sensitivity, and the synthetic leather wrist pad and trackpad button keep my laptop protected from skin oils and scratches.

The key to putting the pad on is to peel off the backing little-by-little, and use a credit card to squish all the bubbles out as you go along. You should also clean the area first to remove any debris and oils so it will stick better, and do it when your computer is cool. My friend has had the protectors on for over a year now, and they've done their job; there are stains where his wrists lie on the laptop, so all he has to do is replace the Marware protector, and his MacBook Pro will look as good as new.

Just be patient when putting the things on your CLEAN and cool laptop, and everything will be fine.

I was referred to the MarWare by a friend of mine who had the same product only for his MacBook. I didn't have a problem putting the cover on, and it fits perfectly when it's closed. The only problem I have is keeping the keypad cover over the keypad because I'll misplace it and forget to place it back over the keys. Shipping was very fast and easy as well.
