This doll is a collectible, not a toy to be played with; hence the low ratings for fun, educational value, and durability. The costume isn't as creative, fanciful, or embellished as it has been in years past. The black lace lends the "White Christmas"-like theme a little bit of a slutty feel. But this Barbie is still worth adding to your collection.

Nothing wrong with the doll. Since we collect these Holiday Barbie dolls, we were disappointed that the case was cracked. Seller did not disclose this in the description.

I got this for an adult friend collector, and she hasn't stopped talking about it since I gave it her. As a non-collector, I have to admit it is pretty and seems well made, though I haven't seen this doll out of the box. (That's evidently a no-no.) This gave my friend so much pleasure, and she is a "Barbie expert", so I believe it is a good buy.

I have collected the Holiday Barbie since my daughter was born, we have never opened the boxes and they are very unique in dress. Seems to be well made for the ones that want to play with them.

I buy this every year for my niece. She loves love. We keep them in the box, but she stills loves the sparkly dresses.
