Problem with Windows XP [Posted on 2007-01-07]
I bought it as an upgrade over McAfee 2006. It took over my computer, and slowed down the computer substantially. It has too many features connected in a complicated way that will affect the performance of your computer. Don't buy this if you use windows xp.

Replaced Norton AntiVirus / Improved Performance [Posted on 2007-05-05]
Unlike the other user's experience, I removed Norton AntiVirus 2007, replaced it with McAfee PC Protection Plus 2007 and had a noticable improvement in performance on my wife's notebook computer. Her Symantec Norton software mysteriously quit working and refused to re-install. After wasting several hours with Norton's on-line support people, I gave up, removed all traces of the Norton program and replaced it with McAfee. This program installed itself without a hitch, did a full system scan, removed 260 incidences of malware/spyware and dramatically improved the performance of my wife's computer. This program costs less and works better in my opinion.

Slow down XP, does not work in Vista [Posted on 2007-08-04]
The Amazon.com says it is Vista compatible, it is wrong. I installed it but it makes my vista business crashed!!! The system reports that there is big compatibility issues. Do not buy it for Vista!!
