CDRW External Drive Not On Par With Internal Drive [Posted on 2006-07-25]
My IBM ThinkPad doesn't have an internal drive so I bought this thinking I could reload the operating system. The BIOS didn't recognize the existence of this external USB drive until AFTER the machine booted into the defective OS. At that point it was too late. I really need a native CD drive for my ThinkPad. However, this drive is OK if you need it for loading and running other applications or something.
