It's James bond in a SD card. It works great in my cellphone (a BlackBerry), my computer, my laptop, and my camera. No need for camera cables or card reader. This can be used as a memory stick. A SDMicro reader. A real SD card.
It's a USB memory dongle that just happens to itself be in the shape of a SD card, that also just happens to be a SD Micro reader itself.
The main disadvantage is that it is only 66X, but it has caused no problems with taking 2-3 photographs per second on my Canon digital camera and being able to record 640x480 30fps video (at least on Canon cameras). Much faster performing than the cheap generic-brand gigabyte SD cards that stores always advertise in sales - I've seen some of those cheap cards perform around "10X" speed.
It's pretty good to spontaneously email my photos wirelessly if I need to. A news reporter would find this valuable: Take the SD card from the camera and plug the SD Micro card into BlackBerry, then upload the magazine-quality photos right on the spot.
It's also pretty useful when visiting family/friends. A family member asks for your pictures before you leave for home. But you forgot your camera cable. No problem -- all you do is plug this card into a USB port of their computer, and copy the photos to their computer, before you leave. Don't need to remember to burn a CD for them.
