Awesome!!! [Posted on 2004-01-20] Extraordingly great, one of the best PC games I have ever played and it's better than the second one AND the third one combined together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is One of the best games ever [Posted on 2004-03-27] When I played the demo of this game I couldnt wait until my mom bought me the regular game. I dont know why but I loved how I could change the weather.(that was one of the main reasons why I bought the regular game)And i wanted to explore chigago of what it was. I must say that this was the most adventuest games that i have every played in my whole life. THANK YOU THE MAKES OF THE GAME!!
One of the best driving games ever. 7th sep 2004. [Posted on 2004-09-07] This game is fantastic, and not to expensive. It has excellent great looking graphics, which are better than the game driver. Choose from different vehicles, choose whether you want more cops or less, the weather, and how much traffic on the road. It is great for just taking a drive on the road,i love it. Or great for just a spin.
This is the best game ever! [Posted on 2004-11-28] I got this game when it first came out.I loved it.It is a great game that has the option of cruisng or othor races.I like to cruise.I have had this game ever since.I have gotten other games like 2 and 3 but they are not as good as this game.
An awesome experience [Posted on 2005-05-18] My brother and I got hooked on Midtown Madness years ago, when my dad let us test his client's new computer. Granted, we did little more than test Midtown Madness.
Someone once asked me what I do when I need "emotional refuge." Answer: play Midtown Madness. Yes, of course that's crazy, but it's true. Caroming down the streets of Chicago is incredibly cathartic and always a fresh experience.
The city is vast (but not vast enough, of course), with many shortcuts and "break-throughs," like driving through the glass walls of the mall. The race modes include Cruise mode (ram down the traffic, or empty the city completely, if you so desire...), Checkpoint, Blitz, and Circuit. Also, there is a multiplayer mode, but I've never explored that, so I won't comment on it.
Having played Midtown Madness and Midtown Madness 2, I honestly prefer the former. Granted, there are far too few cars, and they're difficult (but not impossible) to control with the keyboard (my brother took the joystick with him when he moved out...). Perhaps it's because I was baptized by MM1, I don't know, but it simply is the first, the best.
I was going to give this game 4 stars because of the few cars, but then I remembered the well-done graphics and the days on days I've spent playing this game. So I gave it an extra half-star for that.
And I always round UP. So, *****/***** Good Stuff!!
