Wireless Optical Mouse [Posted on 2008-03-30] This is a great mouse (although a tad big for a woman's hand), but worth the price to get away that pesky cord.
Be aware, though, that when you share an office with someone that also uses a Microsoft Cordless Mouse - you can get interference with each other when you are using them at the same time.
Mouse [Posted on 2008-03-30] I have really not used this since I evidently didn't read the description really well & it is for a desktop. My order did come in very quickly
Nice mouse, horrid wireless [Posted on 2008-04-03] Mouse has a nice feel but is not consistently smooth in operation. Missed button clicks, sluggish mouse movement, and other wireless oddities ruined the experience for me. I returned for a full refund.
God performance, but some OS issues [Posted on 2008-07-07] I really like this mouse design. Its symmetry makes it appropriate for both right- and left-hand mousers (I'm ambi-moustrous) and it has smooth, quiet controls.
Unfortunately, one of the "special functions" available with the programmable tilt wheel is to show larger views of the running applications (screenshots of each running ap, instead of the icons you see when you do an Alt-Tab). To accomplish this, it actually has to take mini "Print-Screen" pictures digitally whenever your applications show a display, and this causes a rippling or repaint effect in some applications. At least in may versions of Windows XP this is the case.
Even if you don't USE that function of the tilt-wheel, the software still takes the screen shots. So the only way to eliminate the rippling screen problem is to uninstall the software that came with the mouse and install an earlier version of the mouse software - which does not have the tilt-wheel (scroll side-to-side) functionality.
Nevertheless, it's a smooth operating mouse, attractive, and seems to have a reasonable battery life.
Great wireless mouse at a steal of a price [Posted on 2008-08-27] As a person who spends 90% of the day in front of a computer screen, I need a mouse that is comfortable and durable. I bought this at a special price (14.99 each), and I have found it to be a great tool. This mouse fits comfortably in your hand (unlike the smaller standard mouse that comes with most computers- including iMac). I bought one for home and one for work. The only complaint I have is when at work, I often get a low signal message (because I am a bit to far away from the access point). The connection/signal never fails, but the message is annoying. I have dropped it several times, and it has not failed. I have had the same batteries in it since I purchased it- approximately 4 months ago. I would urge any and all to give this one a try (even at regular price) if they do not like their current mouse.
