Excellent product, superior audio quality for a bluetooth headset. [Posted on 2008-08-11] This product is great for home users. I never thought that this product have this kind of quality audio and was so comfortable. It can be used for a long time without need to be charging again, and you can answer a call at the same time if you are using it with your phone. I recommend this product.
Big bang for the bucks [Posted on 2008-08-12] This is my first foray into BT headphones, so I have little to compare them to except for BT technology and typical headphones. So here it goes:
I have a BlackJack II that I purchased these for, since the phone does not have a headset jack. As for the headphones themselves, I was pleasantly surprised when I finally paired this headset to my phone. Quality stereo sound! It was immediate satisfaction for the money spent. The only thing that I find a little lacking is the volume. Although it is plenty loud, it may not be so in a louder environment. If you are trying to drown out some noisy talkers, or other noise, they may not be quite up to par. However, you can look at it that they won't cause you hearing loss either. :D Which I am sure that I suffer from by doing just that over the years. Second thought, this might be attributed to the phone as well. I have not paired them to my PC to see if that makes a difference. Regardless, they are loud enough for relaxing to your favorite tunes.
The fit? They are a nice and comfortable behind the neck fit. I have a big head, size 8 cap, and little ears. So for me, they fell a little lower on my ears than I like at times. Due to the weight, they'll slip down a bit after a time of wearing them and you moving around. But that's nitpickin a bit. But all-in-all, really nice. Definitely no more or less than any other headphones.
Here is what impressed me. The RANGE! I left my phone in the living room. Walked into the bathroom, which is in my bedroom, and I could NOT tell one bit of difference than when I had the phone right next to me! This is impressive, because you cannot do this with a regular BT headset! The standard range on a BT headset is about 30 feet. And that is really line of sight range. I was probably within the 30 feet, give or take, but I was behind 3 walls!
Oh...and you can take calls with them as well. I have not tested this part out yet, but it is not why I purchased them for to begin with. So if they work well, then its a BONUS. I am sure that they won't be any worse than any of the other BT headsets that I have paid big bucks for and don't use because the party I am talking to can't understand me.
Conclusion? After just one night, I am pleasantly surprised and happy with these headphones. The sound is what I would expect out of something that I paid $100 for. The range is far more than what I expected from a BT device, so that is a bonus for sure. The fit? Well, that's going to be different for everyone. Not everyone has a jug for a head. I am sure they will suit your needs. And the cool thing is that I can pair this with my PC as well. Double duty, just one price. Love that!
Works well! [Posted on 2008-08-27] Works well - I personally do not like the behind the ear/head design but the sound quality is OK.
Great Bluetooth headset [Posted on 2008-09-03] I love using a wireless headset and I would highly recommend it. This product was easy to setup and begin using. I already purchased a Kingston Micro Bluetooth usb adapter for my laptop and it already setup the laptop to use the bluetooth when headphones are connected. The sound quality is great; I just wanted to be able to listen to music without being tied to the laptop by a cord. I only had one issue with the setup: I had to connect the headphones before I opened media player. Not a problem. The headphones are a bit bulky and the behind the neck piece does get in the way when I am wearing a shirt with a collar. I have not tried connecting to my cell phone yet. Now I just need to update my music library.
Very Nice. [Posted on 2008-09-05] High quality sound and low price. Only a little uncomfortable after wearing them for extended periods.
