I ordered this battery hoping to save some money, but I put it in and it only charged to 45%!!! I contacted the company and they gave me instructions to fully discharge it and get it in sync with my laptop. After that, the battery only charged to 30%. I don't know if it was the company (BrilliantStore) or the battery, but I will definitely not be buying this again.

I bought this battery through Amazon Marketplace from AMA Computer Store.

The battery did not work when I received it. I tried to troubleshoot it to no avail. When I contacted the seller, they replied asking what I did to it so that it wasn't working. I said nothing and they told me to send it back to them at my cost and they would take a look, test it, and decide whether they would refund me minus my initial shipping charge, assuming they agreed that it didn't work and that I didn't break it myself. I replied back and said this was unacceptable. They stated that I must have dropped the battery and that was why it didn't work. Had to put in a claim via Amazon's A-Z Guarantee.

Lousy battery. Worse Seller.

Thirty Days = Dead Battery [Posted on 2008-05-23]
I've had the battery for about a month now and it's already dead. I should've listened to the few negative reviews on here. The battery never charged to 100% and the seller was going to charge me an outrageous price to send it back to them not guaranteeing a replacement. I feel this is a scam and someone's way of making a quick buck. I thought that people would be honest enough not to dupe their customers into wasting their money.

rec'd my order is two days. put battery in and nothing happened. through e-mail they told me to do/try a couple of things. no good. they sent me a prepaid label...i sent battery back to them. rec'd the second battery and it works fine. i am very satisfied, not only with the servoce but the price...compared to a new DELL battery was about $150.00 cheaper!

We bought this battery about 5 months ago and it's dead already. It seemed to work OK for about a month, but we can't go without a plug now for more than 10 minutes. We're buying our batteries from Dell from now on. They might be overpriced, but at least we'll get a couple good years out of the battery.
