When I received this leather case from Boxwave, I was delighted to see that it fits my Nokia N810 perfectly! It's built more ruggedly than the original case so it protects my Nokia N810 everywhere I go. Thank you!
I Must Be Doing Something Wrong... [Posted on 2008-06-04]
These cases must not all but cut and trimmed equally (or I got one mislabeled as n810 instead of n800 or 770); The case I got was not wide enough to fit the device. I'll be returning mine, so I can't say I would recommend this to n810 users. To its credit, it is well designed. The magnetic clasp is strong enough without causing any sort of damage to the device. The stitching is solid, and the leather is very soft and smooth. If nothing else, it could be used as a case for a small Moleskine reporter-style notebook as the case has a holder for a small, thin pen in its spine as well as pockets for credit/ID cards. But, as a case for an N810, I just can't recommend it.
Does NOT fit the N810 [Posted on 2008-07-03]
My Boxwave case does not even come close to fitting my Nokia N810. The packing slip included with shipping box clearly says for "Nokia N810" but not a chance of the device fitting inside the case.
Case looks well made but useless to me. And I see another person had the same problem. So looks like QC problems at Boxwave.
I now have to go throgh the hassel of returning the case. Do I take a chance with another??? Can they all be the wrong size???
