A bit too long but OK [Posted on 2008-02-07] The unit measures a bit too long (length)-about 4 cm longer than the standard 15 cm width x 8.5 cm height x 14 cm length--this unit is roughly 18 cm long or 4 cm longer than usual. Consequently I had a hard time fitting it in my mid-tower (measuring 35 cm high x 40 cm long x 18 cm wide). It finally fit, but it was so cramped that the cables were bent on themselves, and the screw holes were not in the 'standard' position for my case so I couldn't even screw it in, though it was so tightly cramped in the power supply bay that no screws were needed. To make this product work, a full-size tower is needed, not a mid-size tower. Further, the fan is quiet but not super-quiet. It does not help that I have a cheap aluminum case, which picks up AC 'hum' (hint: always try and get a sturdy steel case when possible). So, for me, this unit was too big. Fortunately the price is right, and it was no big loss even if I trash it (I could return it, but shipping is a hassle). For me, a cheap $75 450 W power supply ended up doing the trick (fit within my case), and it was just as "silent" (or noisy) as this unit which was twice as expensive. But this company has a good reputation and if you need 750 W, by all means, if you have a full size tower, buy this product.
OCZ has ruined this company [Posted on 2008-03-02] I purchased this item based on the PC power and Cooling name. It was installed in my machine for less than 24 hours when it quit working.
So much for reliability. I will not be purchasing from this company again.

Dead on arrival [Posted on 2008-04-30] DOA is a term mostly associated with motherboards and an occasional cpu. But this power supply arrived defective. It was misleading as it would provide basic power to the motherboard but would not kick on the fan when the system was turned on. Their troubleshooting guide online helped determine the supply was ineed defective and earned them an extra point. Looked quite promising but failed to deliver.....
Cool PSU.. [Posted on 2008-05-08] This is an excellent PSU. With all the connectors i need and more.
Doesn't make noise. Just a little spinning sound but nothing to worry about.
Great power for a strong machine. (750 W)
I use it for a Core 2 QUAD with 4 GB of memory and 500 GB HD and 256 MB VIdeo Card.
100% Recommended.
