It worked really well for 2 weeks, and then just stopped working. I dont think i treated it unkindly---i kept it in my pocket next to my cellphone.
Maybe if i had treated it more gingerly it would have lasted longer. But what's the point of this form factor if you have to baby it?

I am a Mac user so using a USB drive is plug and play. This drive worked for 2 days. In those 2 days I used it to transfer 4 files to another computer. Then it just started UN-mounting itself in the middle of any file transfer I did. I have NEVER used a weaker product, I STRONGLY suggest to stick with companies that specialize in these drives, like Kensington or a few others. Stay FAR away from anything saying PLEOMAX.

I'm not sure why any of the other reviewers saw a problem with this product, but it has worked flawlessly for me. I am a traveling computer security engineer and I needed this type of storage to move files easily, but more importantly to store virtual machine images. A typical flash drive does not have the space to store VM images. I also didn't want an external hard drive with moving parts since I travel a lot and bumping around a hard drive is a good way to lose data. I have been using this drive for 3 months now and have had no problems.
The drive comes with some security and syncing software that some may find useful. This takes up some of the space (about 3-4 GB) on the drive. If you don't like or need it, you can just format the drive and have the entire 12GB for storage.
I do recommend this flash drive for the price compared to the storage you get with 2 GB flash drives for similar prices.

This is an extremely poor product. The drive is not like other usb drives that you are familiar with. It has internal moving parts, so needless to say it gets fairly hot when in use. The drive has a problem when you try to write over 4gb of information on it. The drive will dismount quite often (while you are accessing it), which causes files to be partially written. I tried to reformat the drive to NTFS, but bad tracks were detected. I tried to reformat to FAT32, same thing. The only use that I can see for this drive is on cold days you can plug it into your laptop for a few seconds and have an instant hand warmer. There is no way that I would store any kind of valuable information on this drive. I suspect there will be some type of class action lawsuit on these drives in the future.
There are much better products on the market for cheaper. I just bought an Adata 32gb usb flash drive from Frys that costs less than this piece of junk. I am very happy with it, it's what a usb drive should be.

It is not a good product. I've bought it from Best buy. It works for 2 month. Best buy doesn't take it back. Samsung does not replace it . Anybody have a box for this number and could give an adress from box. Where I should return it?
