No extended time notice [Posted on 2008-04-09] This battery has a shorter life span then the original PSP battery. I've noticed no difference in my fat 1000. Maybe it will work better in a slim
Shame on Amazon [Posted on 2008-04-23] Ok, this is my first really black mark against Amazon after being happy with literally hundreds of items I have purchased with them as a Prime subscriber.
This battery sold through Amazon Market is a complete and utter sham. It does NOT work in the PSP (Slim or otherwise). I got one that has a barcode on the back, but it is in the Chinese packaging at any rate. It will not charge no matter how many times I have tried.
Do as others have said and buy your battery from a reputable local game store. DO NOT BUY THIS BATTERY from Amazon Market. You will get burned. Amazon should black list the people who are selling these fake batteries.
Great! [Posted on 2008-05-28] While the packaging certainly doesn't look official, the battery itself gives me 9.5 hours at medium brightness on my slim and light PSP... exactly what I was looking for. If you don't mind a little extra bulkiness, then get this.
The Extra Juice is Great [Posted on 2008-05-29] One of the problems with the PSP is the short battery time. On long trips where I could not get access to a plug the PSP was pretty much useless after only a few hours. But...just bought this and charged it up for a long plane flight. I believe I got about six hours of play on the charge and that was a nice change. The DS still gives a longer charge overall, but I prefer the PSP for portable shooters, especially when I have a lot of time to burn at airports.
okay [Posted on 2008-08-26] I had my doubts about the battery after I had to recharge it so soon after the first charge, but I had also been running my PSP at 233/333 for the first time as well. My worries are annulled now.
