As describe - great performance and flexibility [Posted on 2007-05-08] I bought these for my 88 y.o. Mother in order to put a phone where she needed it, as opposed to where the phone jacks were in the house. The flexibility is great. The sound quality and directory are great. I selected one of the musical rings, and she loves it! Could not be happier with the product.
This phone stinks [Posted on 2007-06-28] Half of the time I cannot hear the other party unless I hang up this phone and talk on one of my old phones.
phones [Posted on 2007-10-14] Very easy to use and operate, wish the volume was louder on speaker phone and ear piece I like them quite well
Too many failures - Can't recommend [Posted on 2007-12-26] We purchased these phones on the obvious feature of having 3 related but separate phones and chargers. The sound quality was not the best, but acceptable, especially if you use the feature to brighten the voice quality. Within 3 months, the base station unit died. We sent them in for warranty work, and were surprised to get back refurbished units.
We did not like it but figured, what the heck, given that the turn-around time for replacement was less than two weeks.
We are now about 9 months from that replacement, and the base unit has begun to malfunction. People call and can't hear us. We can't dial out, etc.
I am scrapping these, and returning to good old corded units that I can count on the performance and quality.
Serving us well [Posted on 2008-04-29] Panasonic KX-TG5631S 5.8 GHz FHSS GigaRange Digital Cordless Answering System
I've had this system a good while now. I looked at lots of reviews before making my decision and have been pleased. I have a Vonage account... Internet telephony... and it has voicemail and call waiting built in. I plug the Vonage router into the high-speed modem, and the telephone base into the Vonage router. The sound on the phones is great, the range has been very good. We have two home offices... so we have one phone in my husband's office, another in mine, and another in the living area. Have not had a problem... ever.
