Had to return this phone twice [Posted on 2008-04-17] I've had Panasonic phones for many years. When time came to buy a new one, I chose this model. After 3 days, the screen on one of my handsets died. I went back and got replacement... After a week, the phone would hang, so I had to repower it to get it going. In a couple of days, several buttons went out of order on one of the handsets. After this I returned the phone and got the refund. Very frustrating experience.
The worst telephone I ever bought [Posted on 2008-04-21] This is the worst telephone I ever bought. The joy stick is completely useless. In order to erase my old messages I have to use a STEAK KNIFE with the point pressing on the joystick to get to the word yes. I am so sorry I bought this model. My corded telephone is also a panasonic which I am very happy with. I would not recommend this model to anybody.
PANASONIC KX-TG8232B [Posted on 2008-04-26] After reading quite a few reviews on phone with answering machines, I finally came to the conclusion that this phone would make a good choice. I am glad I bought it. One thing the answering machine needs is a LOUDER speaker.
These phones are awesome!!! [Posted on 2008-04-28] I receieved these phones and they are terrific. Easy to set up, and they work great, I'm very happy with the quality and performance
Nice little phone system [Posted on 2008-05-07] I like the small imprint this phone has; base unit takes little room. I am disappointed in the sound quality. I don't like holding a phone to my ear and always use the speakerphone. It is easy to understand the caller, but the quality of the sound is not very good, less than I expected, and not as good as the Vtech handset speakerphone that it replaced. The speakerphone is on the back of the phone, but the mike is on the front. When you have messages there is a button that lights up, but no visible indication of the number of messages and which message you are on. This is far less convenient than my old machine, which displayed the caller ID for each message. I should have researched this phone a little better, so it is my own fault for not getting the features I wanted. At least it does clear the missed call indication on all phones when you check it on one of them, and it is nice that you only have to make phonebook entries on one set. However, if you want to assign a ringtone to a caller you have to make the entries on every phone.
