Had this for a week. Slapped it into my DELLs AGP slot and it was detected by windows XP automatically. Works great so far.
Works for older 2x/4x AGP slot, but resolution limited [Posted on 2006-02-09]
I got this card for an older emachines T2200 computer that has a 2x/4x AGP slot. The computer recognized the card and ran just fine with it, but the maximum native resolution that I could coax out of it was 1600x1200. I was looking for at least a 1920x1200 resolution for my 24" widescreen LCD monitor. Although the graphics software allows for higher custom resolutions, the card and software simply refused to recognize that the monitor was a widscreen monitor, treating it as a standard sized monitor instead, and persisted in expanding the width of the displayed image.
Otherwise the images and frame rates were just fine.
Bummer. Looks like this card is going back.
