I was looking at a hands free headset for home use, when I purchased the CS 55. It was not clear that you needed a PSTN adaptor if you want to use it in a home environment. (with cordless phones).
I was able to find the right plantronics adaptor an it is working fine at home, I later discovered that there is a CS-55H Home edition, but for me it was more practical to purchase the adaptor than to ship back the CS 55 and pay for shipment again for the CS 55H.
my wife complaints that the range is not as wide as I thought, but I have not played with the adjustments yet.

Our sales team uses these. I've been told that they are comfortable and work really well. At one point we had to send one in for repair, which the company took care of and even sent back to us free of charge. I recommend this product because the price is reasonable for what you are getting, and the customer service of the company that sells the product is top notch.
Good sound quality - poor comfort [Posted on 2008-04-27]
I have no issue on how the product worked, however the comfort of the ear piece was bad. It was made of cheap plastic and despite having 3 different sizes, I could only wear it for 2 minutes max. I ended up returning in exchange for Plantronics CS70N.

Happy with the product - required a little tuning of the sound feedback settings, but overall a good headset for the price.

Once I re-read and understood the directions for which dial does what adjustment, the unit works very well. Like the choice of different "speaker" options. I didn't order the handset lifter, figured I could do that myself...and so far I have been able to! The footprint is small, so it doesn't take much room.
