Minigames allow you to win items for use in a racing game. The minigames are essentially a pokemon crossword fill-in, a Tetris-type falling game, a pokemon word find, a guessing game, and another racing game.
Purchasers note that the item box states it will work with Windows 98 and Windows ME as well as XP. The system requirements are only 300 MHz processor, 32 MB RAM, 80 MB free hard disk space (or 500 MB for full install), 256 color display, 640x480 resolution, 8x speed CD-ROM drive, Windows compatible sound card and speakers, and Mouse.

This game rocks! You get to play as Blastoise, Charmander, Charmeleon, Bulbasaur, Venusaur, Pikachu, Plusle, Rayquaza, Groudon, even Deoxys and a lot more too! It has 5 mini games that give you powerups and special items for the ultimate Pokemon race to see who makes it to the finish line first! All the games have unique difficulties that make the game more challenging every time you play! BUY THIS GAME!

It is an awesome Pokemon game!It is racing/fighting on snow tracks,water tracks,dirt tracks,and Grand Prixs!Play tons of minigames including Charizard's Crossword Challenge,Skitty's Blockout,and much much more.In minigames you earn nuts to throw,sparks to shoot,turbo boosts,and other power-ups to use in races.
It is awesome.You can play as either: Blastoise,Charmeleon,Charmander,Plusle,Rayquaza,Munchlax,
Kyogre,Groudon,Torchic,Bulbasuar,Deoxys,Venasaur,Minun,
or Metagross. Its the bestest game ever!

For the 6 to 10 age bracket this a great game. The controls are simple, and game navigation is from a visual menu. It is not a grand action game. Pokemon fans will like it.
