Awsome game [Posted on 2005-12-23]
This game is awsome. Chopping people up with the boomerange machete, slicing frantics in half with the scythe, destroying cows heads with the sledgehammer. This game rocks all around. Also the new phrases the Postal Dude says when using the new weapons are cool as well. No 5 hour long loading time is also great. The zombies freak me out abit appearing out of nowherealong with this gary coleman zombies/what ever they are. Then one thing that rocked and was funny the most is what the last boss said. "FEAR MY QUIVERING CROTCH!"

no mo' free roam [Posted on 2006-01-26]
Postal 2 is the kind of game I can still play to this day because you can go anywhere you want and do whatever you want to do. I was hoping the expansion pack would just add new weapons, enemies, and areas to the existing game.

Instead it's a small little self-contained linear adventure. I was looking forward to going to all the usual areas in Postal 2 and hacking people into pieces with the machete and scythe and all the other goodies,.. but instead I'm forced to do the usual linear FPS ride. Sure,.. it still has that great psycho-crazy-politically incorrect humor that you love,.. and the new weapons really are fun,.. and I was suprised to see the expansion pack with ....(deep breath) INTRO CINEMA!!!!!!
But overall it's just a bad idea to release a linear expansion pack to a non-linear game. It's not really an expansion pack as it is just a really short sequel with the same graphics engine.

But hey,.. if you have a PC that was top of the line back in 2003 and can't run any of the new awesome shooters like Doom3, FEAR, and Half-life 2,.. AND you have and like the original Postal2,.. then go ahead and have a blast!!

Silly & asinine, but loads of fun... [Posted on 2006-12-13]
Yes, yes, I know, the game has myriad flaws but it's so damn fun to play. The tourette zombies should be a game of their own. I laughed so hard I thought my sides would split. Now, if you're looking for a serious game, this ain't it. Go buy whatever is new and homogeneous. However, if you're depraved and warped, this game is for you. Then again, if you enjoy Postal 2 in the first place you must have a skewed sense of humor to begin with (not a bad quality in my book) so this tongue-in-cheek waste of time will cure what ills you. Buy it or not.

I Love The Peacefulness Of The Elephant Preserve (And Then Disrupting It!) [Posted on 2007-08-11]
This is a pretty awesome expansion pack. A few levels aren't the best, like the opening hospital levels. But the zombie fights and the incredible elephant preserve sections more than make up for it. And the new weapons like the boomerang machette are nothing short diabollically brilliant.

But the elephant preserve, the premise is ridiculous. A special nature preserve where picnicking humans stroll alongside beautiful hills and "peaceful" elephants lumbering around them without a care in the world.

It's nice to just take in the beautiful scenery, the quiet before the storm. And then -- all it takes is ONE disrupted human in the preserve and they run off screaming, maybe you take a piss on them or shoot them but once one of them runs off, the elephants panic and go on a killing rampage! Killing everyone and knocking over trees, it's death, mayhem, murder, and destruction! You can join in and waste all the elephants or just let the elephants waste all the people! It's hilariously! Outrageous! And this is one of the few games that dares to poke fun at Muslim extremists. Talk about balls. Ya gotta love lines like, "The infidel! Kill him in the name of Allah!"

So yeah, pretty awesome game. Not as good as Grand Theft Auto, but a fun first person shooter.

A touch too short and linear, but overall fun [Posted on 2007-08-14]
This expansion is too short, and is far more linear than the main game. Having said that, it was a fun play, with neat new features. Just be aware that if you enjoy it, you will probably play it thru in 1-2 sessions.
