I've been shopping amazon for years now and this is the first time I've felt compelled to write a review. This product does not cut the mustard. Using a CD burner that has burned and continues to burn many a CD, these things weren't readable at 32 or 16, and I've had some failures at 8. I was low on drink coasters anyway.

This is a good quality cd-r, I have burned almost 1000cd's in my yamaha F1 cdrw burner and only one is defective

I bought a 50-pack and the quality is just terrible. A lot of discs were just bad (unreadable), esp after you go over 400 MB. They are probably the cheapest though, but you really get what you pay for. Stay away from them.

Mostly works great, but write at the slowest speed you can. I am using this to copy music CDs I own. I wrote 2 CDs and lost a 3rd. Then I wrote at 4X and have been happy ever since. Great cost benefit.

speed is not as advertised [Posted on 2008-07-01]
I got the ones that claim to be up to 52x speed. The highest recording speed I can burn this with my CD-R is 16x. I don't understand why this is happening? It clearly states that I can record up to 52x but seems like all my CD burners can't burn higher than 16x.

When I use other better brands, I can go all the way to 52x without any problems. I think this brand is cheap generic. I am gonna just give them to the next door neighbor's kid.
