Excellent product [Posted on 2007-12-28] I have been a QB user for seven years. This is my second upgrade. It was a great product seven years ago and is even better now. There are lots of additional features that make it easier to use. QB does what it says it will and does it well. It is definitely the standard for this type of product. Added benefit is that every CPA know the product. I highly recommend this product and highly recommend you get it from Amazon for the best price.
not enough new features to upgrade [Posted on 2008-01-03] I didn't find enough new features to justify the cost. And it takes WAY longer to open the program. I do like the Outlook integration feature for sending invoices. Several things I thought it was going to do, like let me import Excel timesheets, it doesn't do. Everything seems to be an "extra" now. I am always needing to buy forms, or features or extra's to get the most benefit from the product.
Amazon does have the best price.
First Upgrade Since 2001 [Posted on 2008-02-17] Pretty much a solid product. I have had no issues, and really like not having to manually reconcile my accounts; but I believe that is not new to this release.
Works well.
Mostly good [Posted on 2008-03-08] The only complaint's I have is that I had a bit of a problem converting my quicken data into quickbooks. I was back and forth with quicken and quickbooks customer service because one doesn't know or help with the other.
The other thing would be the possiblity of being able to recieve (record)payments right at the time your typing up the invoice rather then going to a seperate window.
I wish they would combine the best of quicken and quickbooks!
Quickbooks is defintely better for my business.
Quickbooks Premier Industry Edition Contractor 2008 [Posted on 2008-04-28] [...]
Quickbooks just keeps getting better and better. I use it my Excavation business and it integrates well with my Estimating programs and is extremely easy to use. I use it from a laptop mounted in my truck using [...] to my office computer. I can print or e-mail any document right from the field and the astonishment by many of my customers that I can give them any document from my software right in the field blows them away. I know I have been awarded many jobs just from the professional instant estimates I can print for them right in the field. I have used Quickbooks for years and the new integration with Outlook is a great new feature.
