Terrible mouse, DO NOT BUY! [Posted on 2008-04-14]
Ive used it for over a month with 3 different macbook pro's, and with each one it had same problems, random disconnects which sometimes are as frequent as every 5-10 min, also less than a feet away from the laptop already gets choppy on the screen, and unusable. Returned mine and getting Logitech v470 instead like everyone recommended in the first place :/ Dont make the same mistake!

i bought this mouse for my macbook and its been great. it disconnects when ur not using it for a while or computer's asleep, but connects back up after sliding it a couple times. the battery life is great, i rarely turn it off and i have change the battery 3 or 4 times since i bought Nov 2007. Its really simple left click, right click, scroll, and scroll click. i like it because of the size, simplicity, and matches the black macbook perfectly.

Aesthetically, this mouse is quite nice. Unfortunately, Razer built this mouse with some level of stupidity involved... the mouse (once paired with the computer) sleeps itself after only 3 to 5 seconds. Waking it up is simple enough, just move it. The issue comes from the mouse trying to 'catch up' from your wake-up movement. It shoots across the screen. It's a big deal when web browsing and you stop moving for a few seconds to read something, then go to click on to another page and the cursor shoots 4 inches away from the intended target. Makes photoshop and illustrator work frustrating, as well as simply browsing the web, reading emails... everything, really.

Thought I got a bad mouse, so returned to Amazon, they sent a new one. Same issue. Tried on 2 Macbook Pros, 1 Windows XP box, and 1 Windows Vista box. Same issue on all systems with BOTH mice.

I gave 1 stars since when it works the tracking is very good and the finish and style is very nice. All it needs to be able to do is mouse around, and it can't do that. Skip it. Replaced it with the Microsoft (aghh!) BT Mouse 5000. No issues with the MS mouse - works perfectly. Not as pretty, but at least I can USE the thing.

Razer simply needs to correct the issue the mouse has in it's firmware. I contacted them and they "made a note of it". This is the MOST basic issue, but one that simply cripples the mouse for any type of real work.

I bought this mouse about 2 months ago from Amazon. The mouse was great while it worked. Comfortable with a nice soft click action.

Problem is it stopped picking up Bluetooth signal one day while I was working, just stopped.

Razer only provides an e-mail tech support address to contact them. I have sent 4 e-mails so far with no reply. It seems this company just does not want to warranty this product.

I would not buy from this company again, beware before you buy a product from this company.

Excellent Laptop Mouse [Posted on 2008-10-17]
I've been looking for a new Bluetooth mouse for a while. I wanted something small, light and sturdy that uses standard batteries and has an "off" button. Check, check, check and check, check. Plus this is a good-looking mouse!

It suffers from what seems like a standard issue with Bluetooth meece, and that's lag. It happens, but the convenience of no transmitter (like RF meece) trumps that for me.

Finally, the mouse that this one replaced had a rocking scroll wheel (for left/right scrolling) which this one lacks and I miss. If that matters a great deal to you, look elsewhere. Otherwise, I highly recommend it! Works great with my MacBook Pro
