Great comeback album by Jeff Carson! [Posted on 2001-10-29] I thought this album was awesome! Song choice was important since Jeff doesn't write much. His song choice was right on the money! It is rather heavy on the ballads, but the ballads are very good. The best of these is "Real Life", which is the title cut. Right behind it is the other ballads, including "My One And Only Love", "What's Not To Love", "It Wouldn't Kill Me", and the killer cut, "Scars and All". The up-tempo stuff is really good too. I liked all of them, "I Almost Never Loved You", "Shine On" (A awesome song of inspiration and hope, especially given the recent New York tragedies), "Where Did I Go So Right", and "Divine Intervention". This is a very good album. Keep it going, Jeff!
Real Life [Posted on 2002-02-18] Each song on this C.D. is super! Keep up the great work Jeff!
so slow country music [Posted on 2005-07-22] I never heard Jeff Carson before and i expect something more of him. This is a real slow music album, perhaps is not bad for a moment of relax, but I think there's nothing bad in two or three faster songs.Personally I don't like it too much
Good but not what I was looking for [Posted on 2007-01-15] This is a good CD but it did not have the song that I was looking for on it. I was looking for "I Can Only Imagine" and when the radio stations play it, it always references this CD so I got it thinking the song was on it. I should have researched it a little better.
