- Latest Lithium Ion battery technology gives the best performance possible compared to other battery technologies such as Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH).
- Integrated microchip prevents overcharging & lengthens battery life.

Just like the original! [Posted on 2007-07-15] This battery lasts the same length of time as the original (which for me is about one day). Verizon tells me that their XV6700 support people all have the extended battery, but I think the phone is big enough already. So, carrying an additional battery is well worth it for situations where a charger is not available (like on a plane).
Battery life poor [Posted on 2007-10-23] I purchased this to replace the factory battery that came with my Cingular 8525. When new, the original battery would last 12-15 hours of heavy email use, including some talk time. After 11 months, the factory battery diminished to 6-7 hours of light email use with no talk time.
I purchased this battery as replacement and it has provided only 9.5 hours of very light email use before going dead.
It is not even remotely comparable to the factory battery in terms of original power or life. Unless I am informed that it is defective I do NOT recommend that anyone purchase this battery to replace the standard factory issued battery for the Cingular 8525.
Note that I do NOT have any type of extended life battery.
UPDATE: I believe I have discovered the problem--the factory battery is a 1350mAh battery whereas this battery is 850mAH. So the problem is not that the battery is defective its that it doesn't store as much juice as the factory battery. There are 1350mAH batteries on Amazon for the 8525 but they cost more than this one.
Finally, the company was very responsive. When I told them I thought this one was defective because of the short life, they offered to replace it immediately.
did not work properly [Posted on 2007-11-25] Did not work properly, most products I but from Acessory one I have no problems w/ so I didnt ask for my m oney back & I did not contact them for a refund or to complain. (it was $3)
Sick! [Posted on 2007-12-13] Works and cheap...I have always use this batt instead of my stock one...works like a charm...I keep an extra batt in case my xv6700 runs out of batt life!
Good [Posted on 2008-06-01] It is a good battery, but I thought it would give me a little more talk time than the original. It's about the same.
