that battery is not original battery of sony, the brand is POWER2000. seller should say that in technical details. i'm not satisfied with this product because i expect the original one.

Cannot tell the difference between this battery and the one that came with the camera. It works great and battery life is respectable. Always good to have a backup (or two). Also recommend more than one charger (car charger is always a good idea too!)

This brand works just as well as the much more expensive one with the Sony name on it. Ditto for the much cheaper battery charger offered by Amazon!

The DSC-H9 is a bit of a battery hog, so I bought this as a backup battery for a long trip. I'm glad it was just a backup, because it wouldn't give a low battery warning - all of a sudden, the camera would just turn off and wouldn't turn back on until I put in a charged battery! Besides that, it worked fine.

The batteries I bought did not work in my SOny DSC w 300. It says it does in the ad and thats a bald face lie. It may work in others but not the aforementioned camera. I sent it back when the display on my camera said not for use in this camera and shut down.
