This is one of my favorite cases for my Handspring Visor Deluxe. It is well-padded with side protection and a front stiffener. It holds a few additional items in the front mesh pocket or generously sized inner pockets. It has an interesting belt loop that allows you to remove it easily, and a little loop for a belt clip or other snap.

I added a bit of elastic to the 'spine' of mine to hold a spare stylus (complaint #1- no stylus loop), but otherwise have not modified it.

You can Velcro your PDA in place, but the 4 corner straps hold the Visor's snap-on cover in a perfect 'backwards' position so you can just snap the device into the cover. Just using the corner straps, you can use this case with some of the slightly oversized modules in place (such as the eyemodule).

Overall, this is also a slender enough package to fit into large pants pockets comfortably.

Beside the lack of a stylus loop, my other complaint is pretty minor. I wish the belt loop buckle was not so thick so the entire case would be more slender, however, I understand the trade-off here.

I think this is an excellent case for the money- if this is the kind of thing you need.

After 4 days use, I have to agree with criticsms seen elsewhere about the elastic straps used to hold the PDA in place. With a Jornada 568, and with the screen cover attached, the straps quickly become "stretched and sloppy". Who wants to use velcro patches on the battery pack. This product needs a serious re-design!

The Rhino 1100 will make a handy accesory case, but I wouldn't trust an [expensive] device in it. GripGear Designs makes a superior case, although it is 1.5X the price.

Case is good, not great but good.

I purchased this Rhino Skin 3000 because it is one of the few Pocket PC holders on the market. No other case could compare with this model, it has some flaws but it serves its purpose. This case does hold my IPAQ 3635 with Compact Flash expansion pack securely with the use of the Velcro which is included. The inside you can hold your Pocket PC, 2 pens, 2 batteries, a couple business cards and some small odds and ends in the mesh pocket. The only problem I can see with this is that there is no way to protect the screen, so I don't put anything in there that could scratch it. I don't own a keyboard so I don't know how it would fit in the case but I would not recommend putting one in.

As for the outside they have a belt loop, there is no way in heck you could strap this on your belt don't even try. The carrying handle is pretty much useless and so are most of the little loops which I still can't find a use for. The zippered mesh pocket on the outside is where I put my flashlight and my keys because I don't want to keep them inside. This case serves my purpose when I'm doing my job as an IT manager but it's kind of bulky, if you want small and compact I suggest you look someplace else.

A great 'carry all' case [Posted on 2002-02-04]
First of all, let me say that the bungie straps are not useless, as stated by a couple reviewers. I have a Visor Prism and (had) a stowaway keyboard, and those straps held them both extremely well. They were always in place when I opened the case, and have never fallen out if I opened the case with the zipper facing the floor.

The outer pocket is wonderful for springboards, it's the perfect size. I have my Backup module, Thinodem/creditcard phone line/thinmodem RJ11 adaptor, and Eyemodule all in the front mesh pocket, and it holds them very comfortably. Inside the case, I have my Visor Prism, a ZIP Disk, a load of credit sized cards, and a Pentopia (I think that's the brand) 2+1 metal stylus. In the pocket on the very back (unzips on the outside of the case), I have my checkbook and misc. receipts that I gather when I'm running errands.

This is a great case when you have to (or want to.. hehe) take everything with you. It's served me very well for the year or so I've had it. It holds the previously stated items without any buldging at all (even when it had the stowaway in it).

A must have case for springboard owners.

Don't the name of this product fool you...it works with just about any PDA out there.

The RhinoPak is a wonderful carrying case, especially if you have a lot of add-ons for your PDA. I use it to carry an iPAQ, a Targus folding keyboard and adapter unit, a CF ethernet adapter and a FlashPath floppy disk adapter. All of that in a case that is just a little larger than a medium length paperback novel.

The main compartment is well padded and allows you to secure the PDA with either velcro or with the elastic corners sewn in. The opposite side of the main compartment contains a mesh pocket that wil hold everything else. The front cover contains a zippered pocket flap, which covers another mesh pocket and the back cover has a zippered pocket that runs the length of the unit. This is definitely made for the PDA packrat.

In short, if you have a lot of other devices, cards, accessories for any PDA, look into this.
