Customer Reviews:

Would not stray from this brand again. [Posted on 2005-05-08]
I first purchased these in the 25 pack spindle when I first used my generic brand DVD burner. After 25 successful burns I went cheap and tried the Velocity equivalent. Never again! 9 out of 10 burns were coasters. I bought the Ridata 50 pack and after another 20 or so discs - not one bad disc. Lesson learned.

Just finished my 100 dvd+r spindle and they rock! [Posted on 2005-08-04]
This media is amazing for burning. Not only will you get very little coasters, you can go back to your dvd+rs a long time after burning and have them work perfectly, even if scratched.
I'm using a TS-H552b dvd burner which we all know can be quite picky about it's media, and this passes the test 100% everytime.
I finished a complete 100 dvd+r from ridata (R003) and I only got one damaged disked out of the entire lot!!!
Never buying anything else again.

THE BEST [Posted on 2005-08-28]
I first tried Memorex, needless to say those are horrible.

I then chose ridata because of the low price and high rating. I've gone through a 25 spindle, a 50 spindle, and am on my second 50 spindle. every dvd still works fine (excluding the ones i've accidently scrached up), and i've never gotten an error or problem while burning them. so far they've worked on every dvd player i've tried them on. I use DVD X copy Platinum, and a Dell dimension 9100. They also work great on my other computer, which is a very old dell system with a sony burner.

BEST DVD +R DISCS FOR THE PRICE [Posted on 2006-01-28]
I was new at burning dvds on my home computer so for the longest time I thought it was the burner itself. However, my real problem was that I was buying the cheapie discs that were on sale at the department stores and they weren't being read by any of my dvd players. I upgraded to the expensive discs and they all worked fine except they put a dent in the wallet. These ridata discs turned out to be the happy medium for me, you can beat the quality (50 burned so far and not one went bad) or the price. 5 stars all the way.

DON'T BUY ANY RITEK RIDATA 8x MEDIA!!!!!! [Posted on 2006-02-27]
DON'T BUY ANY RITEK RIDATA 8x MEDIA!!!!!!

They become unplayable after a few months. Do a google search for Ritek 8x problems and you will get to the online forums where this problem has been discussed.

I just threw away a hundred discs that I burned less than 8 months ago!!!
