Amazing little gadget [Posted on 2008-10-24]
I first heard about this thumb drive on Leo Laporte & Dick DeBartolo's Daily Gizwiz podcast. It's rather dull compared to some o the other stuff things they've talked about, but amazingly useful. My laptop only has 3 usb ports, and normally i use 1 for the mouse, headset, and thumbdrive, but often want to hook up a webcam, external hard drive, or something else.
USB was origionally designed to chain devices, but this is one of 2 devices i know that actually does that, letting me use my thumb drive as well as freeing up 2 other ports. Don't know how i got along without one.
