Almost perfect [Posted on 2008-06-30] This mouse is small and portable and comes with a little cloth bag that makes it easy to transport while traveling. The tracking is accurate, the buttons provide excellent tactile feedback. The batteries recharge via the USB cable, which is very convenient. The one problem with this mouse is that it seems to fall asleep after about 30 seconds. The only way that I have found to wake up the sleeping mouse is to click it. Unfortunately, this click can sometimes activate whichever button the cursor is over.
Interferes with Apple blue tooth keyboards [Posted on 2008-07-17] Despite others' good experience, I found this blue tooth mouse un-usable as it interferes with my Apple blue tooth keyboards (I have two). My Apple mighty mouse, which is blue tooth also, does not have such interferences. Sigh! I wish there were a way to work around the interference.
It's great [Posted on 2008-08-21] I just got this smk-link mouse today and I gotta say it works really well. No problems at all. I really like the fact that you can recharge it while you use it. After all, why would I want to keep buying batteries? That's the main reason I got it. It tracks accurately and is comfortable in my palm. I also like the simple design. The only criticism I have is that if you use it while it's recharging and don't move it for a few seconds it goes to sleep and then you have to click on the screen. But that's only when it's recharging and not while you're using it without the cord. Really not even a big deal. All in all the smk-link mouse is probably the best rechargeable bluetooth mouse out there.
Mostly works quite well [Posted on 2008-08-24] Have had this mouse for about 2 weeks now, and overall I am very pleased with it. Don't have much trouble with the mouse "going to sleep" except when it is charging. Seems like with the usb cable plugged in and charging the mouse, it goes to sleep after about 5 seconds and can take a couple seconds to get it to wake up. Functionally it is a great mouse and would reccomend it. It has great coverage and the batteries do last quite a while. The only other minor issue is that the click wheel glows when charging and is supposed to go out when fully charged but it doesn't.
Compact size, easy setup [Posted on 2008-09-09] Even though this mouse is intended for a Mac, I use it with my windows laptop, it is very easy to setup. Compact size is great for travel but not so small the buttons are difficult to operate. Recharging is simple and you can continue to use the mouse while it is charging.
