This is a great keyboard to work with. The keys are quiet, much quieter than my old keyboard, and are easy to work on. One of the main reasons I got this keyboard was the back light color. Finding a red keyboard to match my computer is tough, but this one fit the bill. It's bright enough to see during the day and has a dimmer so you can turn the light down or off. This is one keyboard I will be keeping for a long, long time.

This keyboard is GREAT. Everything (and more) that I'd hoped it would be. The lighting in my office isn't the greatest so it's the answer to my problem. The price was fantastic and after my $25 reward certificate, I ended up paying $9.99 for it (no shipping charge). Can't beat that with a stick!

I have to say, once again I am impressed with the quality of Saitek products. This is the second time I have bought something from them and I will continue to do so in the future.
Pros:
The keyboard is well made, the keys don't seem like the paint will rub off very easily. The brightness controls for the back-lighting are genius and set to the correct levels. The sound controls were the reason I bought this particular item, and they worked right out of the box, no drivers necessary. Amazon delivered a day early.
Cons: No matter how much I beg it won't make me a sandwich.
Other:I would recommend getting the red version as it's easier on the eyes and doesn't hurt your night vision. I previously had the creative Fatal1ty keyboard which was blue and has no media controls. This is a vast improvement.

I built a computer, and pretty much after I ordered everything else I forgot to get a keyboard. I ordered it after everything else, but it sill got here before alot of the other stuff, and free shipping too. I came across some other Lighted keyboards and not many of them had good reviews, and this one looked like the better deal without having to spend a lot of money. I pretty much only use my computer at night, and I usually dont have lights on, so this helps out alot, and its deffinatly bright enough to see even in complete darkness. Another good thing is that all I had to do was plug it in and all those little buttons at the top work, I bought keyboards before where those utility buttons up top didnt work at all, so its just an added bonus. Its pretty durable, only problem I found is that the keys strike kind of easy, so when I type and dont hit a key just right it adds the letter right next to the one im typing.

This keyboard is great and I'd give it the last star if it had a variable color keyboard led. I knew it didn't have that when I ordered it, so no blame to anyone else.
