Didn't work from the start, and no support [Posted on 2007-01-05] This headset did not work properly from the start.
1) No computers (running OSX or Windows XP) were able to even recognize these headphones as either an output or an input device. Thus, you can't even select it as an input.
2) There's no CD or software or drivers that accompany the product, and the company website does not have any mention of it either.
3) There is a thumping static sound coming from the headphones, even when the vibration feature is turned off.
4) I never cared about this feature, but the vibration never ever worked.
This is one of the most poorly designed products I have ever seen.
Pretty Good Headset [Posted on 2007-02-26] I really wanted to leave a review to straighten the record on this headset. The vibration feature is awesome, when cranked it'll make you literally jump out of your seat when someone sneaks up on you and fires from close range! It's truly awesome! The previous review by I. Chan is quite mistaken, there are no USB drivers because this is not a USB headset, it is analog using a standard speaker jack. The USB connector is merely the power for the vibrating force-feedback feature (which requires USB 2.0). He must have had it plugged into the older USB 1.0 type port which doesn't have the same amount of power output. If he had read the outside of the packaging or the included instructions it would have been clear to him.
The sound quality on these is excellent and they're quite comfy and durable. My only complaint is the microphone. It's not amplified in any way and is very, very weak. I could hardly be heard when using Teamspeak. Really the Mic is quite useless. Otherwise, this is an awesome headset. Highly recommeded as long as you don't need the mic.
horrible quality! [Posted on 2007-05-15] to be honest i ended up buying a cheaper headset from wal-mart with way better quality.. people couldnt understand what i said most of the time and there was always static!
Get Into the Game!!! [Posted on 2008-08-15] FOR REAL GAMERS!!!
I thought this looked like a comfortable headset with a nice mic. I didn't give much thought to the vibration...then it came on and WOW! You won't go back to any other headset once you've played with this!
Not bad, but not great [Posted on 2008-09-24] The headphones are really pretty good and the vibration feature is kinda neat too. But although I never use the microphone in any of my games, I did test it. It's a real joke. I mean, I think I'll take a set of cutters to it and just cut it off to get it out of my way. It's truly that bad.
