Product fails randomly [Posted on 2007-10-07] My particular keyboard has keys that randomly don't work. Currently, the "g", "h" and space bar keys don't work (they worked fine yesterday), and in the past Escape has stopped working for a while. Since it's so inexpensive, it's probably not worth the money to send it back, but I will certainly be finding another keyboard.
The keyboard is not the loudest keyboard I've ever used, but it's certainly not the quietest. The keys have nice tactile feedback.
Look carefully at the layout picture before buying -- part of the shift key space is used by the turbo key, and the enter key bumps out the "\" key to the top row, thus taking up some of the room from the backspace key.
I agree: this keyboard is very poorly made. [Posted on 2007-10-20] I wish I had heeded the other review of this product. I thought the reports of keys not working was confined to a few of these keyboards and that the other user had gotten unlucky. After all this is Samsung product, not some keyboard made by some little no-name company. Now I see that the keyboard failures are either due to a design defect or the result of terrible quality control. I needed a small PS/2 keyboard without media keys for extensive writing and this seemed to fit the bill. It is nice and small for a full sized keyboard, it is very inexpensive, and it looks good. However it simply doesn't work. On mine, the F and Del would not work and the space bar fell off after about 10 minutes of use. Make sure to skip this product. I just purchased a Microsoft wired keyboard and I'm returning this.
a smart keyboard for a minimal price [Posted on 2007-12-03] The Samsung Pleomax keyboard is a very good buy for the type of work that I ususlly do. The keys also type very proficient and when you "hit" them; the typing becomes even more faster and clean. I was somewhat impressed by this keyboard even though it was such a low price for someone on a budget such as I am.
Great value, great product. [Posted on 2008-03-10] This is a great keyboard and its price makes it a fantastic value. Well worth the money and all it is really missing is lights.
Basic keyboard at a great price. [Posted on 2008-09-01] If you are looking for a basic keyboard without all the flashy stuff, this is a good keyboard at a great price.
