So far so good: easy installation, printing is sharp with excellent fine lines.

I needed a real 4100D3/XAA toner cartridge. You advertised that this is what was going to delivered. See your advertisement!! What was really delivered was an "4100D3/SEE". Exactly as expected, this did not work in my printer, copier. The gear will not mesh properly and it pops up repeatedly. It was returned. Return process was fairly simple. No offer was made to actually deliver an XAA. NOTE: The existing cartridge (an "XAA") works perfectly.

I received a SCX-4100D3/SEE cartridge from a MarketPlace seller, and it works perfectly in my SCX-4100 printer. I am very pleased.
The box only lists the part number as SCX-4100D3, and states "For SCX-4100", so I do not know how a seller would be able to determine the part inside has a /XAA or /SEE suffix. Amazon should correct its listing to remove the designation /XAA if there is not a way to ensure that the part shipped actually has that suffix.
Buy original manufacturer toner cartridges [Posted on 2008-04-11]
I bought a 3rd party cheaper toner cartridge and it didn't work. You're better off just buying the original manufacturer toner cartridge. Otherwise, you'll have the hassle of having to return, pay for return shipping, and lost time.

The free toner cartridge included with the printer fails very soon. I ordered this one and so far so good. Much much better than the one comes with the printer.
