good for the price [Posted on 2008-09-30] the Sandisk Sansa is user friendly, the sound is real good. The only thinkg I have had problems with is the ear plugs which sometimes the sound will come in and out because of the plug. which doesn't happen often but it does happen.
kid friendly too [Posted on 2008-10-04] this is a great ipod even for an 8 year old. Holds up well and not too many functions to overwhelm the not too savvy.
Great Product [Posted on 2008-11-02] This is an awesome adorable MP3 player. Gave to my granddaughter for her birthday - she adores it. Clips on - plays lots of music and she is only 7 so obviously very easy to use. Think of getting one for myself!
Perfect for my niece [Posted on 2008-11-14] I bought this for my 13-year-old niece and she absolutely loves it. It fits perfectly in her jeans pocket and she takes it with her everywhere. I don't think she has removed it from her ears since we bought it actually. 2 GB is also perfect for her because she doesn't really listen to many complete albums, but usually just likes to add her new favorite songs. These are great for a younger teen if you don't want to invest in an iPod.
Low cost, good value. [Posted on 2008-11-26] Purchased for my younger (6 yr old) daughter, on the advice of a friend who uses his while doing yard work. I have one of the e280 series Sansa players, and the operation is similar for both, although the Clip has fewer options, so it's easy enough for my child to navigate. The PC interface is simple too... USB cable to my desktop PC running Windows Media Player. Instructions are easy to understand, and we were dragging music files onto the Sansa Clip in no time. The included earphones are nothing special (foam slip-on covers for the ear pieces, which I hate), so I got her a set of Gummy earphones (w/silicon ear pieces) for less than $10. Overall, very pleased with this MP3 player.
