This little gadget works great! I use it in my car to listen to recorded books and music. I'm not much of a "techie" person, but I'm doing okay using it!

If you want an MP3 player that covers the basics - superior sound, lightweight, easy to operate - this will fit the bill. It stores about 250 songs, which is plenty if all you want is something to get you through your workout or a long commute. It's also particularly great for the technologically challenged . . .

I purchased the SanDisk Sansa c240 1 GB MP3 Player (Black)a couple of weeks ago, and I am surpised.
This MP3 player is superior to all those ipods. It has excellent sound, easy to set up. I didn't have to install any software. The coolest thing of the c240 is the microSD slot, I purchased the micro card and I have stored all my music without any issues. I love it.
I am happy with my Sansa c240. I will highly recommend it.
By the way, I am taking the c240 to Europe in a few days..I am sure it will be a great help during the long flight.

Got the Sansa C240 for Christmas of 2007, and now, a year later, I love this little box just as much as the day I opened it. Once you get the knack of the software (I downloaded the Sansa Media Converter to my hard drive) it's a piece of cake to load with music and photos.
Battery life is about a week, at 80 minutes (I'm on the train to work..) per day. Headphones are junk, but that's true of all headphones that come with MP3s.
All in all, a great MP3 player at a reasonable price. If you pay more than 40.00 for this (it's November of 2008 right now..), you got ripped off.
It's becoming hard to find in stores. Get one while you still can!

The SanDisk Sansa c240 1GB MP3 Player is one of the best players for the price. It is real easy to use and downloads are fast and very good quality. Excellent volume control and a pretty nice pair of earphones.
I use it at work daily and I work in a noisy manufacturing building. This device cuts right through the noise to give you a clear sound and the battery life is far better than most. This is a five star product and I would reccommend it to anyone who wants a good MP3 player for a reasonable price. It's lightweigt too. It would be perfect if it came with a small carrying case.
